Bus Structure
Bus tracks follow a hierarchical naming convention:
- Main Category Bus (e.g.,
DRUM (BUS)
) - Subcategory Bus (e.g.,
D KICK (Bus)
) - Summed Tracks (e.g.,
D Kick SUM
) - Individual Elements (e.g.,
D Kick In
,D Kick Out
)
Best Practices
- Always use the appropriate category prefix
- Include descriptive suffixes when applicable
- Maintain consistent capitalization
- Use parentheses for grouping information
- Keep names clear and concise
- Follow the established color coding for effects
- Use the full naming structure when detailed information is needed
- Use simplified names for common tracks
